Stud RDI
BRAZIL
In Brazil, our mares are boarded at “Haras Mondesir” located in Bagé, in the extreme south of the country. With a small number of broodmares, Stud RDI has achieved outstanding results, such as being the current percentage “Leading Breeder of Stakes Winners” since 2000.

ARGENTINA
The operation in Argentina is located in the heart of Pilar, at the prestigious “Haras La Quebrada”. Three G1 winners – EMERGING TALENT, IMPERADOR, LINDALEVESOLTA (named Argentinian Champion 2yo filly) and MENINO DO RIO – came from here.
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The US operation is a merger of the Brazilian and Argentine operations. As one of the most prestigious thoroughbred countries, it is always a goal and a dream for the Stud RDI to compete there.
In 2014 our first Stakes winner in America was BARUTA who won the G3 Senator Ken Maddy Stakes, at Santa Anita, in California.
In recent years, the success of this merger seems to be consolidated when the trifecta IVAR, IMPERADOR, and IN LOVE succeeded in the US.
In 2020, IVAR won the G1 Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes, at Keeneland, in Kentucky.
In 2021, IMPERADOR set a new track record when won the G2 Calumet Farm Turf Cup Stakes, at Kentucky Downs; and IN LOVE won G1 Keeneland Turf Mile Stakes, both in Kentucky.
Fazenda Mondesir belongs to a traditional family of Rio de Janeiro, Peixoto de Castro, who continues to play an important role in the Brazilian thoroughbred, managed by Dr. Paulo Bergamo. Found in the region of South Brazil, Bagé is a medium city boarded between Brazil and Uruguay. With mild temperatures and a beautiful landscape of hills, the most important thoroughbred operations of Brazil have their farms in Bagé.
La Quebrada Farm belongs to one of the most traditional families of thoroughbreds in Argentina, the Ceriani Cernadas, since 1940. It is located in Pilar, Buenos Aires. SOUTHERN HALO, one of the most successful stallions in the history of thoroughbred racing stood here.
